My name is Ed Herman and I have been practicing personal injury law for several years. I believe that as a lawyer, I am a watchdog helping to keep people safe. Too many companies put out products that aren’t as safe as they could be. I believe they do it simply to make larger profits. Too many property owners would rather not make sure that their property is safe, clean, and free of defects for the same reason.

So many drivers spend their time chatting on cell phones and singing along to the radio instead of paying attention to the cars in front of them.

What I do hits people where they hurt, in their pocketbooks. I hope that if I can force individuals to take responsibility for their carelessness and make them pay for their negligence, then maybe next time they will make different choices. If I can get a manufacturer to add a child safety device, a homeowner to replace a rotted step or a driver to stay more alert, then I will have succeeded in making a difference. That is why I am proud to be a personal injury lawyer.
