My name is Mark Elhoffer. I view my role as a workers compensation attorney at Brown & Crouppen, as one, which provides options to you, the injured worker. Yes, there are options and they should be yours. It is sometimes easy for the unrepresented worker to be backed into a corner by a large insurance company and their lawyers.

Many workers feel the insurance adjuster is being fair and that they keep you informed. You must keep in mind that they represent the insurance company, not you! It is their job to pay you as little as possible for your injury.

I’ve been here at Brown and Crouppen for more than seven years. I’ve previously worked on the defense side. This has given me the ability to foresee the hurdles the insurance companies may place before you. It has given me the knowledge to overcome these hurdles so I can help maximize the potential award or settlement you get.

All in all, I made the right decision becoming a lawyer who helps injured workers get the compensation they deserve. When you walk out of a courtroom with someone you’ve helped get fair compensation for his or her injury, it’s a real good feeling. It makes you feel like you make a difference.
