Remicade
(Infliximab) is an immune-suppressing drug used
to treat rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease.
In November of 1999, the FDA approved Remicade (infliximab)
to treat rheumatoid arthritis. The problem with
Remicade is that it acts as an immune suppressant.
This makes patients who take Remicade extremely
vulnerable to opportunistic infections, including
tuberculosis and sepsis.
Distressing results have also been identified when
Remicade was used in patients with congestive heart
failure. In a study of 101 patients, seven died.
Reports also suggest that infusion reactions with
hives, difficulty in breathing, and low blood
pressure may also happen. Some people have also
experienced upper respiratory infections, headache,
nausea, cough, sinusitis, and rash skins.
If you or a family
member has been harmed by Remicade, our attorneys
will use every resource at their command to make
sure you are compensated for this injustice. Our
job is to make the legal process as easy as
possible, and to make sure you receive substantial
compensation quickly to overcome financial
difficulties.

My
mother was a great lady. I wish you could have met
her. She was loving, wise and just about the best
cook in the world. I really miss her. A few years
ago mom was given a prescription drug by her doctor
to help manage her chronic disease. Unfortunately
this new wonder drug didn’t help at all, in fact it
really hurt her. You see after mom started taking
the drug we noticed she was going downhill. She was
tired all the time, she couldn’t sleep and became
very restless.
